We met by chance one quiet evening at the Regal Georgian when it was just the two of us in the theater to see Napoleon. It could’ve been just a movie night, but something clicked. The next evening, we made it a double feature with The Boy and the Heron.

A few days later, we found ourselves walking the winding golf cart trails of Peachtree City and ending the day at an iHop booth talking for hours about everything from philosophy to video games to genetics and the future of humanity. That wide-ranging curiosity was the first glimpse into a shared love of learning, discovery, and imagination.

Our story quickly became one of adventure. From the Bavarian streets of Helen to the bright lights of Vegas for CES, from Chattanooga’s mountaintops to quiet nights under the stars at a fledgling Monteagle campground, every trip deepened our bond. One of our most cherished memories was St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah which quickly became our favorite. We took our favorite selfie on the riverwalk there, where exactly one year later Josh proposed in that very same spot.

Though we dreamed of a destination wedding in Scotland, we found the perfect place closer to home. A Scottish-inspired castle tucked into the hills of North Carolina. It blends our shared love of travel, nature, and history with a touch of fantasy.

But not all our adventures happen on the road.

At home, we’ve built a world of our own. A world filled with laughter, board game nights with friends, endless playlists, cozy dinners and the kind of late night conversations that stretch until morning. These everyday rituals are just as magical as any getaway. They’ve become the heartbeat of our life together.
